As part of the SAA, you’ll dive into the heart of Wolfpack traditions, like the excitement of Homecoming, the fun of Ram Roast and the pride of the Celebration of Pack Traditions ceremony. SAA gives you the opportunity to meet passionate alumni who’ve been in your shoes and are ready to share their stories, advice and connections to help you thrive academically and get a start on your career.
Networking Events
Each semester, you’ll have the opportunity to share a formal meal with distinguished alumni who are excited to share their career stories, advice and insights. To help you make the most of these connections, we offer professional development coaching at events leading up to the dinner, so you can strengthen your networking skills.
In the spring, we take it a step further with a Young Alumni mixer, where students and recent graduates can connect, share experiences and build relationships in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Personal and Professional Development
Throughout the year, SAA offers a variety of personal and professional development activities. From guest speakers to interactive workshops, these events are packed with valuable insights and practical tools.
Opportunities range from managing personal finances to polishing your résumé, strengthening your interview skills, negotiating a salary and more. Being part of SAA means gaining real-world skills that will prepare you for workplace success.
Traditions Keepers
Whether you’re cheering on the Pack at a game, gathering around the Belltower or taking part in NC State’s most cherished traditions, make every moment count. Use Get Involved to track your completed traditions, see your progress and get one step closer to becoming an official Tradition Keeper. Students who complete 40 or more traditions as Tradition Keepers will receive their medals during the Celebration of Pack Traditions ceremony. a special event to honor their dedication to NC State’s rich traditions. Don’t just experience NC State — document it, celebrate it and make it part of your legacy!
