Michael G. Kay<\/strong> has been a professor of Industrial Engineering at North Carolina State University since 1992. He is the director of the Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering<\/a> graduate program, former director of the Operations Research<\/a> graduate program, and past president of the College-Industry Council on Material Handling Education<\/a>.<\/p>\n
