ISE Senior Lecturer and Assistant Head Emeritus, Clarence Smith<\/a>, who retired in 2010 after serving ISE for 32+ years, was appointed recently to a four-year term serving on the Board of Trustees of Piedmont Community College (PCC), located in Roxboro, NC. His term as trustee runs through June 30, 2021.<\/p>\n

Piedmont Community College<\/a>, one of 58 colleges in the North Carolina Community College System, is a multi-campus college primarily serving Person and Caswell Counties. PCC awards associates degrees, diplomas, and certificates in about 40 programs of study and offers a college-university transfer program for students pursuing bachelor’s degrees at four-year institutions. Additionally, the College provides a wide variety of professional and personal enrichment programs and courses through its Continuing Education Division.<\/p>\n
