Like our ISE department, Chiang Mai is also a \u201cfull-service\u201d IE department with faculty working in ergonomics, logistics and supply chains, manufacturing, and operations research. They have a research Excellence Center for Logistics Engineering and Supply Chain Management. They also have a research unit focused on Design and Development of Advanced Manufacturing Technology. Although the Chiang Mai department is half a world away from NC State, we are not so far apart in terms of interests and the types of coursework and research we deliver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<div
