Ensure you have the most up-to-date software installed before moving forward.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose <strong>Apple Menu<\/strong>, <strong>System Preferences<\/strong> and then select <strong>Printers &amp; Scanners<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Add<\/strong> button at the bottom of the printer list, click the <strong>IP<\/strong> button, and then enter the printer information using the following information as a guide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To set up your printer&#8217;s <strong>Address<\/strong>, enter the hostname followed by \u201c.ie.ncsu.edu\u201d (for example, raleigh.ie.ncsu.edu).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Next, click the <strong>Protocol<\/strong> pop-up menu and select <strong>Internet Printing Protocol (IPP)<\/strong>, which most modern printers support. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If your printer requires a <strong>Queue<\/strong> name, enter it.
