Key Forms

  • Graduate School Forms
    • Includes exam scheduling requests, change of degree, parental leave.
    • All forms should be submitted directly to the MAE Graduate Office, who will obtain necessary signatures

Intake for forms, exams, exemption requests, and equipment requests

  • Submit Written Exams
    • Faculty chairs should use this to submit APPROVED written qualifying and preliminary exams. Written prelims must be submitted before oral prelims can be scheduled.
  • Submit Oral Exam Scheduling Request
    • Students should use this to submit Oral Exam requests (Oral Prelim, Oral Thesis Defense, Oral Dissertation Defense)
  • Submit MAE Exemption and Exception Requests
    • Exemptions for MAE program requirements may be requested for academic reasons or unavoidable conflicts
    • Topics: MAE 801 enrollment, Graduate Research Symposium, technical elective course request
  • Submit Other Student Forms and Requests
    • Submit forms and requests for processing and DGP signature
    • Topics: Change of Degree, Course Audit, CFR letters, Late Arrival letters, Deferrals
  • Equipment request from MAE Graduate Office
    • Requests to borrow equipment for professional activities such as departmental poster sessions

Student Support

  • Campus Resources
    • Many resources are available on campus for those in need, including food support. We’ve compiled some of the key ones here. Information for incident is also provided.
  • Embedded Counselors
    • Mental health is crucial. The College of Engineering has embedded counselors dedicated to supporting engineering students
