Neil Brittain serves as the Global People and Organization Director for Novartis Pharmaceuticals in East Hanover, New Jersey. Before returning to Novartis in 2024, he served as Senior Director of Human Resources at Gilead Sciences from 2021 to 2024. In addition, Brittain spent 14 years with Novartis in global leadership roles across manufacturing, quality, finance and human resources. Ten of those years were spent in Basel, Switzerland.

After earning his Industrial Engineering degree from NC State in 1994, Brittain began his career in industrial engineering at Michelin Tire. Then, he held manufacturing management and Lean Six Sigma leadership roles at AMP Inc. and Eaton Commercial Controls. Brittain is also a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

From 2015 to 2018, Brittain served as Vice President of Operations for Ennis-Flint, a global pavement marking company. There, he oversaw 17 manufacturing plants, as well as corporate environmental health and safety, quality and process engineering operations. Throughout his career, Brittain has combined engineering, operations and leadership expertise to support global business growth and organizational success.
