Minor in Industrial Engineering
The Minor in Industrial Engineering gives you a strong introduction to the field. It is designed for undergraduate engineering students and science majors outside industrial engineering. As a result, you can gain the fundamentals needed for advanced study or related careers.
Through this minor, you follow a structured program that builds core knowledge in industrial engineering. In addition, you develop skills that many industrial engineers use across industries. Therefore, you gain practical tools that support problem solving and system improvement.
Minor in Supply Chain Engineering
The Minor in Supply Chain Engineering helps you build skills related to the networks and processes that move materials and products. As a result, you learn how organizations manage the flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
Through this minor, you study how materials move into production facilities and transform into finished products. Then, you explore how companies distribute those products to customer markets. Therefore, you gain a clear understanding of modern supply chain systems.
Minor in Data Science, Analytics and Decision-making
The Data Science Academy partners with several NC State colleges to offer data science minors and certificates. As a result, you can strengthen your technical skills across disciplines.
The Minor in Data Science in Analytics and Decision Making is a 15-credit interdisciplinary credential. Through this program, you build essential data science skills with depth in Industrial and Systems Engineering content. Therefore, you gain both analytical expertise and applied engineering insight.
