THANK YOU | A Message to our Alumni

Our alums have built successful careers and improved the way people live, work and play. As a result, they have strengthened both their professions and the department. Their achievements continue to inspire future generations of industrial and systems engineers.

Likewise, you can stay connected and make a lasting impact. Share your knowledge, experiences and career advice with current students through mentoring, speaking opportunities and other volunteer activities.

9 Ways to Partner with ISE

The ISE Department partners with industry leaders and alumni to create meaningful opportunities for collaboration. Below, you will find nine ways to connect with ISE and support shared success.

In addition, we welcome new ideas. If you have a different way to partner with us, we would love to hear from you. Together, we can explore creative opportunities that benefit your organization, our students and the broader ISE community.

Alumni Resources

The ISE Alumni Resources Program helps you stay connected and continue growing throughout your career. As a result, you’ll gain access to valuable tools, professional development opportunities and a strong network of fellow Wolfpack engineers. Program benefits include:

Giving

The generosity of our alums, friends and industry partners helps shape the future of ISE. Your giving supports scholarships, fellowships, faculty research and academic programs that create opportunities for students and faculty. Because many of these initiatives receive limited state funding, charitable giving plays a vital role in advancing education and research. Most importantly, your giving helps ISE continue its tradition of excellence while creating a lasting impact for future generations.

Alumni Scholarships and Fellowships

Your gifts and support create meaningful opportunities for our students. As a result, they help fund undergraduate scholarships, graduate fellowships and life-changing research experiences. Every contribution strengthens the next generation of industrial and systems engineering leaders.

If you would like to support our students through undergraduate scholarships or graduate fellowships, contact Monica Morgan at mkmorga4@ncsu.edu or 919.515.8888.

Alumni Hall of Fame

The ISE Alumni Hall of Fame honors two groups of exceptional graduates: Distinguished Alumni and Outstanding Young Alumni.

The Distinguished Alumnus Award is the department’s highest alumni honor. It recognizes graduates who have made outstanding contributions to their profession, community and the department. As a result, these individuals leave a lasting impact through their leadership and service.

Likewise, the Outstanding Young Alumni Award recognizes graduates who achieve early career success through professional accomplishments or service. Candidates demonstrate strong leadership and advance quickly within their organizations. In addition, they earn recognition for their achievements and show great promise as future leaders in their profession.

This building brought the College together on Centennial Campus through a special partnership. With half the $150 million funding from North Carolina voters and the rest from private donations, NC State completed this 227,000-square-foot building.

Named after key supporters (Edward P. Fitts, Jr. (ISE ‘61), his wife, Debra, Edgar S. Woolard, Jr. (ISE ‘56), and his wife, Peggy), Fitts-Woolard Hall symbolizes the dedication of alumni and friends in advancing the College’s mission. This facility is an innovation center that promotes interdisciplinary research and industry collaboration.
