Bio

Candance Gingles brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in engineering, manufacturing and distribution within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles focused on quality, operations and engineering excellence. Most recently, Gingles served in several Quality Director positions at Pfizer from 2016 through 2024. Before that, she worked as a plant manager and outsourcing transition lead at Hospira. In addition, she held leadership roles in operational excellence and engineering management.

A Raleigh native, Gingles earned her Industrial Engineering degree from NC State University. Today, she continues supporting future leaders through mentorship and community involvement. Moreover, she serves on the NC State ISE Advisory Board as chair-elect. She also serves on the North Carolina Council for Women and Youth Involvement through a governor-appointed position.

Gingles has received several honors for her leadership and service. In 2022, the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers recognized her with the SEMS Outstanding Management Achievement Award. In addition, a co-authored report by Gingles earned recognition from the American Library Association in 2020. Through her leadership, mentorship and service, Gingles continues making a lasting impact across her profession and community.
