Timothy Coleman, a third-generation toolmaker, joined the Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering in 2021 as a Processes Lab Manager. He has more than 20 years of experience as a toolmaker in the plastic injection mold making industry and brings a strong background in high precision manufacturing and lean manufacturing. Coleman has extensive experience working with and training apprentices and brings a strong background in tool and mold making. He has skills in MasterCam, SolidWorks, management, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
