Bio
Ren joined the Bezos Center in November 2024 as the University Program Specialist, where she manages complex administrative functions and program support. In this role, she ensures compliance with University policies, serves as an administrative liaison, and coordinates with the Finance Manager to handle purchasing, travel, and account management for faculty, staff, and students.
Prior to joining the Bezos Center, she handled communications at the ASSIST Center, an NSF Engineering Research Center within NC State’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
She’s thoroughly enjoying meeting new colleagues in the ISE department and settling into her space in Fitts-Woolard Hall. Outside of work, she and her husband David are adjusting to “empty nest” life as their two children pursue their academic passions – their daughter is a Ph.D. student at Yale, while their son is finishing his BArch degree at NC State’s College of Design.
