Parking and Directions

For parking and directions to Fitts-Woolard Hall, please park in the Poulton Pay Lot, which has 86 spaces (Paystation & ParkMobile), located across the street from the Hunt Library. ISE PRO TIP: The Oval West Parking Deck is located right across from Fitts-Woolard Hall. But it is permit-only parking, and visitors will be ticketed.

ISE Logos

The ISE logo uses Century Schoolbook Bold Italic and Univers fonts. But they do not need to be loaded into your system.

  • The JPG file should be used for PowerPoint, Microsoft Office documents and the web.
  • The PNG files offer a transparent background suitable for student research posters and PowerPoints.
  • The EPS (vector) files are the only logos that should be used for print because vector files will print cleanly at any size.

The department supports innovation through nationally recognized centers focused on ergonomics, advanced manufacturing, logistics and sustainable protein research.

The Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at NC State ranks among the nation’s top programs. In addition, it is one of only five named ISE departments in the United States. The department supports research in advanced manufacturing, health systems, ergonomics, supply chain logistics and systems analytics. Moreover, NC State ISE offers programs in operations research, integrated manufacturing systems engineering and engineering management. The department also partners with universities, medical schools and industry leaders. As a result, students and researchers gain access to innovative resources and advanced facilities through the Ergonomics Center, the Center for Additive Manufacturing and Logistics and the Bezos Center for Sustainable Protein.

The Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at NC State ranks among the nation’s top programs. In addition, it is one of only five named ISE departments in the United States. The department supports a diverse research portfolio that includes:

NC State ISE also offers academic programs in operations research, integrated manufacturing systems engineering and engineering management. Moreover, the department builds strong partnerships with universities, medical schools and industry leaders to support research and innovation.

The department is home to the Ergonomics Center, the Center for Additive Manufacturing and Logistics and the Bezos Center for Sustainable Protein. As a result, students and researchers gain access to advanced facilities, innovative research opportunities and industry-leading resources.
