Bio
Devon Person serves as Vice President of Supply Chain Operations for Foot Locker. Throughout his career, he has led complex global supply chain organizations and major business transformation projects. Before joining Foot Locker, Person held executive leadership roles at Hanesbrands Inc., Eaton, SPX Flow and GE. In addition, he participated in GE’s executive development program and gained broad industry experience.
Person also serves on the NC State Industrial and Systems Engineering Advisory Board. Previously, he served on the United Way of Forsyth County Board. Throughout his career, Person has supported recruiting and retaining minority talent. For example, he helped create several global employee resource groups for African American employees.
Person earned bachelor’s degrees in industrial engineering and textile engineering from NC State. Later, he earned a master’s degree in supply chain management from Penn State University. Additionally, he completed executive leadership training with McKinsey and earned several professional certifications. Because of his achievements, NC State honored him with Outstanding Young Alumni awards in 2021 and 2023.
