Bio

Lisa Cook is an Enterprise Data Management Executive at Bank of America. There, she leads global quality assurance for data, records, risk and regulatory reporting policies. Before joining Bank of America in 2018, Cook worked as a consultant with Ernst and Young. In that role, she focused on data and analytics within the financial services industry.

Earlier in her career, Cook worked with BMW Manufacturing in South Carolina and Munich, Germany. In addition, she served as Chief Operating Officer for the Enterprise Data Organization and led Data Resiliency programs. During that time, she helped develop a patented framework that recovers data after cyberattacks and data corruption.

Cook also remains committed to mentoring students and supporting women in STEM careers. Moreover, she helped strengthen consulting opportunities for NC State ISE students. She sponsors the Ocean Advocacy Workshop and serves on the board of Project Outpour, a nonprofit supporting people experiencing homelessness.

Cook earned her Industrial Engineering degree from NC State in 2013. In addition, CDO Magazine recognized her as a 40 Under 40 Data Leader.
