Bio

Steven DelGrosso is a Professor of the Practice in NC State’s Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. He is an experienced information technology executive who specializes in leading complex, transformational programs. In his prior role as director of IBM’s Project Management Center of Excellence, he led IBM’s global Enterprise Project Management Office, overseeing teams that developed IBM’s corporate project management methodology, project performance measurement system and project manager education standards.

DelGrosso is a former chair of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Board of Directors, a PMI Fellow, and currently serves as University Liaison for the North Carolina PMI chapter. He also teaches the Capstone course in the Project Management Master’s Program at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies.
